Personal Identification Information
SE&M Solutions LLC may collect personal identification information from users in connection with activities, services, features, or resources we make available through our products. This may include:
- Microsoft account email address — used solely to verify authorization to access our products
- Display name or username associated with your organizational account
- Any information you voluntarily submit when contacting our team for support
Users can always refuse to supply personally identifiable information, except that it may prevent them from accessing certain products or features that require authentication.

We may collect non-personal identification information about users whenever they interact with our products. This may include:

- General usage patterns (e.g., how often a feature is used)

How We Use Collected Information
To verify authorization
We use your Microsoft account email address to confirm you belong to an authorized organization (such as Harrisburg University or SE&M Solutions LLC) before granting access to our products. This check happens at sign-in and is not stored beyond the active session.
To improve our products
We may use aggregated, anonymized feedback and usage data to improve the performance, security, and features of our products.
To ensure security
Authentication tokens and session data are used to maintain secure access to our products and are stored locally on your device. They are never transmitted to or stored on third-party servers outside of the Microsoft identity platform.
To communicate with users
If you contact us directly, we may use your information to respond to inquiries, provide technical support, or send important product updates.
What We Do NOT Collect
We never collect, store, or transmit:
- Passwords or passphrases you generate using our tools
- Cryptographic keys created or managed through our products
- Browsing history or activity outside our products
- Payment or financial information
- Location data
Web Browser Cookies and Local Storage
Our browser-based products (such as Chrome extensions) may use browser local storage to retain your session and preferences between uses. This data is stored entirely on your local device and is not transmitted to our servers. You may clear this data at any time through your browser settings.
How We Protect Your Information
We adopt appropriate data collection, storage, and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction of your information. Specifically:
- All communication between our products and servers uses TLS/WSS encryption
- Authentication is handled through Microsoft's enterprise identity platform (Entra ID)
- Our Quantum Random Number Generator (QRNG) infrastructure is isolated on a private local network and never directly exposed to the internet
- Access to our products is restricted to verified organizational accounts only
Sharing Your Personal Information
We do not sell, trade, or rent users’ personal identification information to others. We do not share your information with third parties except in the following limited circumstances:
- Microsoft identity services — to verify your organizational account during sign-in
- Legal requirements — if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of SE&M Solutions LLC or its users
Third Party Services
Our products may interact with third-party services including:
- Microsoft Graph API — to verify your account email and display name
- Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory) — for authentication
- Cloudflare / ngrok — for secure tunnel connectivity between our products and servers

Children's Privacy
Our products are intended for use by university students, faculty, and organizational staff. They are not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We encourage users to frequently check this page for any changes. Your continued use of any of our products following the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
